Wow, folks! That was rad. (That's short for "Ridiculously Awesome Drawings.")
This month, you were challenged to focus on character design and having fun, and man, did you ever. The challenge was to take a character or creature - or to make one up - and then pick 2 or more of the categories and show four versions of the character in each stage.

- Age: Youth, adolescence, adulthood, old age
- Elements: Earth, Wind, Fire, Water
- Day: morning, day, dusk, night
- Creature: mammal, insect, reptile, bird
- Period: ancient, medieval, modern, futuristic
- Genre: mystery, science fiction, fantasy, romance
- Emotion: joy, rage, sorrow, confusion
- Location: desert, swamp, jungle, ocean
- Cats: wait, this isn't a category...ignore this.

Shoutout goes to 42Ly for some gorgeously detailed and intricate linework across all eight categories, and to Anipzis, whose color pencil art spanned all the categories with surreal symbolism.
3-5 CATEGORIES
Four folks dove in with a gusto and completed as many as three to five categories in one go. Kudos to Maverick-Maven, HeathWalsh, Anipzis and Unistonen!

2019 Secret Santa
We're getting the ball rolling a little early this year to give you plenty of time to sign up and make your art. Sign up and you will be randomly assigned to create a secret gift for someone (and secretly assigned to get a gift from someone!). Everyone will get a gift made especially for them by their Secret Santa the last week of December.

It doesn't matter if you're an experienced artist or just starting out - everyone is invited to join the fun!

Nov 29 Update: Just a couple days left! How's your final piece coming along?
Happy November! It's time for another monthly challenge.
This month will be about the ways we improve our art.
First: everyone will decide what they want to draw: it can be a re-draw of something in your gallery, or something new from your imagination.
Then: For the first three weeks of November, you will do studies and practice fundamental that relate to your piece.
Finally: In the last week of November, you will draw the piece...and see how your skills have improved!
