This month's features are dedicated to our most popular correct-me folder style: Manga.
Featured Manga Corrections and (mostly manga) Before/Afters:
And of course, send some hugs and appreciation to May's Improvement-Club rockstar correctors:
jackofalltrades0097
These guys are amazing, amirite? Everyone, stop by their pages and leave a couple comments and a cute llama. This month's secret appreciation emoticon is the toaster that kinda looks like an upside down gray cat (or a vampire? Am I the only person seeing a vampire?). That's :toaster:. Spread the love, write a comment, sign it with a toaster.
Manga Correct-Me Features:
Here are a few spiffy pieces picked out of the Correct-Me folder with a random selection generator (also known as, my brain). Even if you're not a Manga pro, click anyway. Some of the artists are asking about other issues, like how to do dynamic poses, or what shading is all about, or even ideas about paneling. Weigh in.
Oh, and you don't have to be an official "Corrector" of the group to submit redlines or corrections. The more the merrier. (I did redlines for months as a regular member before remembering that I could apply to be a corrector. )
Featured Manga Tutorial:
More tutorials! More!
Here is a small selection from another prolific artist, Naschi, featuring some hints on drawing the manga girl.
Three great tutorials on digital shading and toning.

These are the first three of FOERVRAENGD's series on moving between Manga and Realistic art styles.
Discussion Q:
Are you happy with the folders we have now (Manga, Cartoon, Realism, Nature & Technology, Animals, Other)? Are there folders or things you'd like to see added? Subtracted?
In other news...Gallery Spring Cleaning
If you've visited our gallery recently (well, this morning), you might have noticed something about our folders. They're freshly laundered! Any art that had been submitted over a year ago has been removed from the folder galleries (yes, 2009-ers, I'm looking at you!). Quite a few of the pieces there that were that old were, well, old. Sometimes the artist had grown a lot since submission, sometimes the artist wasn't even on dA anymore.
There are a few of you who are still with us (we love you!!), and still want those earlier pieces corrected (well, duh). If your piece was removed from the gallery, and you still would like a redline on it, just resubmit it. It'll get fresh life, be seen again, and have a better chance of being corrected now that the selection in the gallery is more focused.
And in the meantime, I hope you enjoy the tutorials and the wonderful talent that lives in our group.
Until next time! Stay toasty, my friends.
